Events

Around The Spiral’s first-ever event was hosted in December of 2012. We’ve hosted at least 40 in-game events in both games since then. Time has certainly flown by since then and we’ve had new and old players alike join in on our in-game events. Each time we host an event, we do get questions about what exactly our events are, and how they “run” hehe! So, let’s talk about what exactly we do at Around The Spiral Events! 

Activities

We start off our events by hosting in-game activities such as Pet Derby, Butterfly Swarms, Hide & Seek, and other fun activities. It’s a lot of fun hanging out with everyone and learning more about what everyone thinks about our activities during this portion of the event. Keep in mind that we do stream the activities early on Twitch. You do not need a Twitch account to watch our event streams. You just need a direct link which I’ll provide here and again in another section!

The Run

You’ve made it past the Activities portion of the event and it’s now time to run around Wizard City. We usually start by lining up on Rainbow Bridge (we may line up in other areas – location, time, and more will be announced on event posts) right before a selected time, and then RUN. Keep in mind – that this is not a race to see who finishes first. When we run, we make our way around Wizard City on Rental Mounts (typically provided by Kingsisle). We have different types of Runs – which are Typically Holiday-Themed.

Afterparty

After we are done running, the port bus wizards – which are announced during the stream – will then teleport everyone to the Afterparty House. A quite famous wizard, Iridian Willowglen, usually offers her homes for us to teleport to. Here you’ll have more of a chance to participate in activities such as tag, PvP, and even Musical Chairs! We try to have contests during this portion of the event, but the most important thing to us is that everyone has a chance to possibly meet a new friend!
